First Entry :D

Where do I even begin? I haven't updated a blog in so long that I'm not really sure where to start. Life has been a little bit crazy along with a little bit boring lately. I recently moved to Virginia a few months back with my husband David, my son Brody, my mother and my brother. After living in Florida for nearly two years and David being unable to find a job, we decided that it was time to pack up and move to Virginia where all of his family lives with the hope that he would be able to find a job. We bought an extremely nice house that gives my little family our own space away from my mom and brother all of the time. The two of them live in the downstairs apartment area which is complete with two bedrooms, a living room, bathroom and kitchen! David, Brody and I have the entire upstairs, so it's pretty great to say the least.

Thankfully, shortly after moving here, David was able to find a job. He is now a custodian at a school about 25 minutes away. Right now he is employed through a staffing agency, but once he becomes permanent after 90 days he will be employed by the state, meaning awesome state benefits, vacation days and more! As for me, I'm still working from home writing boring articles every day. It may not be fun, but I'm glad that I am able to stay at home and make money while doing so.

I'm also expecting my second (and last!) child. I'm due on August 19th, but I'm really hoping that the little guy comes sooner. I'm so done with being pregnant, I just want it over and done with. I'm a little bit worried about how Brody will react to the new baby (Mason), especially because he has been so incredibly clingy and whiny lately. It has gotten to the point where he wont even sleep in his own bed, so I have to lay him in my bed with me every night to get him to go to sleep and then move him into his bed in hopes that he wont wake up and come sleep with us in the middle of the night. Cramming three of us into a queen size bed is extremely uncomfortable especially with my huge pregnant belly. He has stayed in his own bed after moving him for the last 2 nights, so fingers crossed that that keeps happening.

Friday we are going to see monster trucks at Expo and I'm super excited! I've never seen monster trucks before and I think Brody is going to love it. He's a real boy, that's for sure. He sat and watched monster trucks on TV one night with David for like an hour and kept asking to watch more after it was over. He's going to go nuts when he sees them in person. Maybe he can even go on a ride on the Virginia Giant :O Well, other than that, I guess there's not too much that I can think of to update about right now. Mostly I'm just constantly stressed out about bills, but hopefully that will all get *somewhat* better since David has a job now. I'm going to try and keep this blog updated on occasion when I actually get the time to get on here and jot down an entry.
